From the sick bed I remotely, once again, fired up the old theme machine. This is the last time the old machine will be used. The new one has been wired and tested. The techs have left and I have the PDF instruction manual on DVD. It is good timing because I think the old machine’s mind is going. I’m not sure what it was thinking. IT spit out with a final breath:

“Panning & Camera Blur”

An odd theme choice for mid January. Simple answer is, you are introducing a blur into the photo by panning the camera on your subject while it is in motion. Think of following a moving object like a car or runner while it is in motion then snapping the photo. The subject is clear while the background is not. WIKIPEDIA help. GOOGLED example. This could be interesting on ice. The more I think about it now the more I wonder if the old machines mind is fine it just wants a final laugh when we fall on the ice.

Plea for submitting. submit submit submit. It is clear I must really go all out for grand making of PB&Js.
