Calm and slightly deep PB&J

The calm photos for last week seem to be augmented by the huge storm that blew through town. The trees were blown around and several were knocked down but luckily they missed my cars and the only damage seems to be my gutter work and back. Here are last weeks photos:

A bit of a psychomanteum for me. I stare into the cast iron pot of water with only a candle to light the way. I see the face of something… but what is it? I do not know. angel or demon?

Chris stopped by to run the machine since I was still hurting from my fall out of a tree. This theme is full of depth.

“Depth of Field”

Depth of field is a photography term relating to the distance of focus from the point of the photo. WHAT?!?! This is best described as a point in focus while things in front and behind are out of focus. The smaller the depth of field the smaller area of sharpness and a larger area out of focus. A larger depth of field the larger the area of sharpness and smaller out of focus. WIKIPEDIA has a nice description of it. GOOGLE shows many photos of it. As usual this is always up to your interpretation. Don’t let it worry you to much, most people do this all the time and don’t even know it 😀
