A birthday later, a dollar short and a day late. Here are the very strong strength photos: side note do not attempt these at home without proper safety gear. Somebody is an expert.

Next weeks photo to take has already been decided.
“Symmetry and Patterns”
It should be a very structured event. Find some symmetry, maybe some good wine, add in a bit of natural patterns and snap a photo. Image Search, 2010 – Symmetry and Patterns.
As always it’s up to your interpretation, take and submit the photo in a week and If you submit it, I’ll post it. Submit at 52week@waxenmedia.com. FAQS

After walking all those photos I walked down to the dungeon and used my foot to kick the machine. It turns out next weeks theme is all about:

Feeling the drag of my feet I slowly made my way down to the random theme machine. Chris brought his security key over and the machine was powered on. I foot chopped the red button and the machine started. It seemed to run forever so I gave the machine a good hard kick. it slowed down and revealed what I expected:
“FEET”
Ahh feet, yes the very sole for which you walk. This is one of those self-explanatory things. The trick is to make it interesting. Image search and 2010 – FEET.

As a side note the word Sauna comes from Finland and has been used for more than 2000 years. I just don’t remember ordering one!?! It seems the answer to the age old question of what photo I should take has already been answered. HINT Ok that wasn’t much of a hint and might have even been distracting. The already answered theme for this weeks photo is:
“NOISE”
Noise is new for this year and an odd theme. Noise in photos can be thought of in a many ways; image noise often referred to as how grainy a photo is. Usually photographers will strive to remove as much image noise as possible. This is not always the case sometimes the noise is put back in on purpose to give a photo a gritty grainy feel., Physical noise expressed in a silent photo, such as somebody holding their ears. OR “A very noisy photo” lots of things happening in the photo. another one of those things that photographers will strive to remove, most of the time. Image Search. If all else fails just take a high ISO(1600+) photo in low light and change it to B&W. You will get plenty of noise.

IT was a night, a quiet moonless night. All through the night all you could hear was the shutter of cameras. Here are those “Night” photos:

Despite the darkness and lack of a moon I could see the path was clear. The lines lead me to random theme machine. I know what to do, there is an arrow and a sign that says “Press the Button”. I press the button… Something strange happens, more arrows and lines point the way. It’s a very clear answer:
“Leading Lines”
Back to the photography rules again. Definition: Leading lines are lines within an image that leads the eye to another point in or out of the image. Anything with a definable line can be a leading line. An example is fences, bridges, or roadways. Leading lines with a subject that is placed according to the rule of thirds should make your image very strong. Here are several examples and videos to help you find the path: 2010 – Leading Lines, My Gallery, Image Search, Video Search and Inspirational Video. Remember, all rules in photography are meant to be broken.
