It seems the power is out in the theme inspired room. All I can see is outlines. I hope that is Chris’s shadow. I reached for the emergency generator and the theme machine powered one. The generator kicked up an amazing dust storm. Through the haze I could read the theme machine screen:

“Silhouettes”

A theme I rather like because of its wide range of creativity.  Last year this theme managed to peak a few interests. I hope this year it peaks even more. At its basic a silhouette is the outline of a person or object. An image search should give you many ideas.  As always it’s up to your interpretation of the theme and if you submit it, I’ll post it.

Hints: An easy silhouette is to take a photograph of somebody with a light behind them. Such as at sunset or sunrise. Then focus on the light source, such as the sky, not them. This will set the exposure of your camera to the bright light and cause everything else to go almost black.

Next week we EAT! Chris stopped by for the random weekly theme so I powered on the F.R.Id.Ge. It growled and complained it was a bit empty. It indicated we really needed to go to the

“Market”

This weeks theme seems to be a trip to the market. Market is a repeat theme from last year.  Think public gathering to sell things. Go forth shoppers and take photos… Well, don’t take photos off the wall. Photograph your own photos not of other peoples photos or your own photos of photos. Remember buy merchandise, take photos. Here is an image search for ideas. Always your interpretation of the theme and if you submit it I’ll post it.

GO! PB&J GO!

Published by under 52 Week,Photography and Art

Slight family emergency slowed my blog down but didn’t stop it!. The go theme was more of a no go it seems. GO just didn’t get people going. Here are the ones that found some GO to photo.

While I was feeling the lack of GO photos Chris sneaked in to run the theme machine. The machine quietly said, in a loud voice:

“Silence”

Shshhhush… SILENCE! Last years silence seemed to be a B&W photo. Time to photograph some silence. Check the image search for ideas. If you submit, I’ll post it.

The F.R.Id.Ge is running perfectly this week. Really going places. Chris stopped by with his security key to start the process. We engaged the security keys then aligned the cross hairs and pressed the red fire button.  The machine just keep going and going and going. When it stopped we both just starred at it. The theme it picked was:

“GO”

Go? go Packers? go south? on the go? go forth and photograph? GoGo photos? GO… Yeah I’m at a loss… Even an image search has me starring blankly. This should be a wide open theme. “Go forth and prosper” in the GO photo GO photos or something. Go now and photo, something, to go with go. Really, go that’s all I have. If you submit it, I’ll post it.

PS. While doing an image search use GO not GOGO.
