Overly active PB&J

Published by under 52 Week,Photography and Art

After downing my handful of pills I took a look at last weeks photos and discovered they are all about discover:

The pills don’t seem to be working, leaving me nearly deaf and very lethargic. I didn’t much touch the theme machine today. I sort of starred at it in wonder. Chris stopped by and managed to fire it up. It complained some and said I really needed to be more:

“Active”

This weeks theme, active, will be interesting to photograph since all I want to do is sleep. Active as a theme could easily go along with action or life. This is another broad theme that allows the max creativity to develop in your photos. Go out into the world and be active and photograph it. I’ll actively wait (oxymoron) for the photos to arrive.

Rediscover the PB&J.

Published by under 52 Week,Photography and Art

Short blog for my short week. Last weeks spiritual theme didn’t seem to get people fired up. Here are last weeks spiritual photos:

This being a short week Chris stopped by and we quickly powered on the theme machine. It indicated we really need to

“Discover”

some new things. So this holiday week is all about “Discover”. This theme is really about the photo that shows a discovery, something that is just around the bend or over the hill.  the theme is however very broad and easily interpreted many ways which I hope gets the imagination going.

52 WEEK UPDATE:

Chris and I have decided to continue this project for another year and we have been going through the list to remove and add new themes. If you have any suggestions please email them to me. I hope to have this list completed and ready 1st week of December.

Uplifting PB&J

Published by under 52 Week,Photography and Art

Last weeks diagonal photos seemed to leave a few people’s head turned. I think it counts if you turn your head while taking a straight photo because it was initially diagonal. Here are last weeks photos.

Chris stopped by after the head turning last week with a new reality a very essence of being (seemed so anyway). The theme machine was powered up the light was amazing and the bells were ringing.. it was very:

“Spiritual”

Yep this weeks theme is all about spiritual. I did an image search to help and didn’t get the results I thought I should proving this theme is very interpretative. Think spiritual and take photos :-D

PB&J on a slant

Published by under 52 Week,Photography and Art

Last week was full of helping hands which was good considering I was pretty much stuck in bed requiring all the help I could get. Here are last weeks Hands photos:

Still recovering from illness and feeling a bit off plumb I ran the theme machine myself. The machine moved very slow and said I was very diagonal. The machine maybe very random but it never lies. This week is back to rules:

“Diagonal Rule”

This is one of the major composition rules. The diagonal rule states that a photograph looks more dynamic if the objects follow a diagonal line. This line doesn’t have to be a straight line or even an actual line. Important elements of the picture should be placed along these diagonals. A quick photo search shows you ideas. As always this is up to your interpretation and follow the most important rule of photography “Rules are meant to be broken otherwise they would be laws”.

Almost Didn’t

Published by under Blogging,Life

110600_1627[01]My weekend started out good with the football game being won 58-32 putting us in the semi finals. :-D yeah!!! It then went down hill and ended a bit rough. On Friday night my small illness I was fighting turned into a bad IMG_7780CSinfection that required some heavy antibiotics. Look left, yes one has to swallow them. All Saturday and Sunday I mostly just stayed in bed. On Sunday afternoon I was surprised with an over powering gas odor (although I couldn’t smell it I was told it was bad) and a fancy red fire truck blocking my drive with other trucks blocking the center of town.

The fire truck was there to warn us of a major gas leak caused by a worker who hit a two-inch gas line. He dug through it. We evacuated the house. The kids complained of being light headed and nauseous but everybody including animals are ok. Gas is back online. Monday as I type this blog I am still recovering from illness but feeling good enough to type from a laptop.

This week should be handy. One may need a pair helping hands. Chris stopped by and used his helping hands to power on the theme machine. Very handy this machine is. The machine says it all

“Hands”

Yes this weeks theme is hands; an extremity of the superior limb, clock parts, hired laborers, constructed by these, up, off, on, free, join or in your hands.  This theme could use a true helping hand. A quick image search shows many possibilities. I await your hands photo. If you submit it, even by hand, I will post it.
